Absolutely, keeping fish that suit your water is always a good idea. I'm not going to set up a blackwater tank for just one fish, but hopefully my naturally soft water will be good enough. The tank with cupid's and tetras is just a little community tank I have in the living room, it'll be moved into my 180g with other eartheaters and bichirs once big enough. And then that tank should be getting a serious upgrade once we've shifted house next year (the monster tank bug has bitten me once again). And if I do track down more of them then later on the 180g might become that blackwater tank after all...
