IMO leucosticta would do better in a 6ft tank, fully mature adults can get up to 9-10" (and yes, I have seen them this size) and they can be fairly active fish. I personally think that adult tapajos are better suited to a 90 gallon.

Agreed. And anyone who says they can't get that length hasn't been to the Oregon zoo here in Portland. That school of percas is in with a massive anaconda ( spelling?)

In a 4ft 90 gallon, I would think the best case scenario is two adult breeding pairs. Personally I would just keep the 4 Tapajos that you already have, grow them out and see how things play out.
