Import legislation being introduced which will result in large percentages of species from every shipment being culled for testing for the Iridovirus - will make importing them completely uneconomical.

Don't think I've ever seen a more pointless comment here - congratulations.

Japes with the current/future import laws on f/w fish have you considered going marines?

Update on the satanoperca eggs all of them have fungus on them but the female is chewing on something so i am not sure if any were fertilized or not.

I was surprised to see the so many free swimming fry released from the females mouth i thought very few eggs were fertilized. The bad part is both female and male decided to eat them, none left in the mouth of the parents now.

Next spawn what are my best options? remove the parents after eggs are fertilized, remove parents after female releases young from her mouth or just give them a few more chances to care for the fry.

I would give them a few more chances. The first time mine spawned they did a terrible job, but now they are good parents and can tend the fry for a long time.

Thanks for the advice, hopefully they will spawn again soon.
