Saum and Gt's

There are two fish that fall under the name 'Green Terror' the false Green Terror - Gold or White/Silver Saum which is mostly commonly sold everywhere or the true Green Terror the Stalsbergi. There are some key differences between the Saum and the Stalsbergi in terms of max length, temperament and coloration.

Thanks, well I have a stalsbergi I picked up from Rapps and I have been hearin they are a little more aggresive, I hope my stock will hold up. This includes a vieja synspilum,a placidochromis phenochilus, a super red severum, a gold severum,a hypselecara temporalis, a jack dempsey, and a bumble bee cat. What do you all think?

Your stock should be fine, when I say more aggressive I mean in terms of a SA cichlid which in general are known to be less aggressive then CA cichlids. The Stalsbergi hangs perfectly well with a CA heavy stock.

Nice job trying to derail another thread jhoss :irked: I agree with aqualoon that the stalsbergi are aggressive enough to hang with most CA cichlids, they are much meaner than any gold/silver saum I have ever kept. If you were looking for a definition of "saum" I think it has the same meaning as the english word "seam" so it would be gold seam or silver seam describing the edges of the finnage.
