Isn't that the truth!

I do get the impression that savannahs are more of a lifestyle than just a pet like a traditional cat might be, in that they need a lot more "enrichment" type of activities to keep them busy and not causing trouble.

I'd love to own a F1 one day, and if my life circumstances would allow, a Serval as well. Beautiful animals.

What is the difference between a Bengal and a Savanna?Where do the Ocicat fit in with these two?

my freind had one of those i forget witch one but since they like water he had trouble keeping it out of the fish tanks.Your cats are very cool by the way.

Up-date pics. My Savannah is amazing in that he is very affectionate as well as unbelievably athletic.

Hope you enjoy,
Thanks, Michael

hehe nice. They getting on well?
Why do we have to have hybrids and not pure breeds? Pardon my ignorance, are they just not domesticated enough?
Ok Davo here ill give you my opinion. The reason for they to be crossbreds is to avoid the legislation that protects the pure species. That gives you the oportunity to have an animal that is in part a diferent nondomesticated species withaut you having to get a licence, wich is needed in most contries to have someting like a serval. The fact that they are hibrids also gives the people around you a sence of security ,knowing that animal is in part a domestic cat. But if you asck me I dont think that is necessary.I think a captive bred ,well treated and socielazed serval is less of a hazard to the neigderhod than , let´s say a rottweiler
