as i said, i still cant hold mine, but it will be worth taking the time to gain his trust. hes so beautiful anyway and we love watching each other lol although hes probably like 'whats this dopey woman doing back talking to herself'

He is pretty tolerant as long as there are no fast movements. I only handled him to take pics. I am going to let him be and gain his trust now. I think mine will think that about me quite a bit or my friends also. Nothing wrong with talking to yourself. At least you know you have one friend that will never leave right?

haha it runs in the family, even my lil girl talks to herself.
 
He has eaten for the 1st time in front of me. Every time he has eaten it was while I was asleep. I do have to say it is very cool watching him chase after crickets.
 
Well my sister is going to go a head and get the Savannah. But before she does I am trying to let her know exactly what she is getting into and going to take that pic from the iguana and send it to her and tell her to picture that much worse on her daughter. -Edit- Also she is starting her research now and only going to do it in till Friday. She said she won't have it around her daughter. But her bf hates my snake because someone spooked her at the pet store and she bite him. And he wants to feed their snake a hamster because he bite him. What will he do when the Sav bites him? Also she thinks if you handle the Sav every day that there is no chance he will be mean. She don't listen to me at all. I do not believe she will be fit to take care of the Sav as of she can't take care of her snake and I had to give her supplies for her hamsters. She does not have the money to do so.
 
congrats. wait til your sav trusts you enough that he'll beg for food in front of you like a lil puppy. :) mine does. he used to tail whip me hissed at me when he was new, now he lets me pick him up to clean his cage.
