Clout and other formalin/malachite green based meds is not very effective against protozoals, praziquantel is the med of choice

flowerhorns can do alright in 90, i would bump to atleast 88, as long as u have lots of airation

Do not put anymore medications. You are adding more stress to your fish by over medicating him.
Let his immune system fight it off.
They are very hady fish.

I used to have one flowerhorn that got infected with hexamatiasis. I only medicated him for 7 days and I let his immune system do the work.
In addition to this, I have another fish that didn't ate for about a month due to this intestinal parasitic as well, but was able recover and grew to 12".
Don't panic if he doesn't eat. He won't die of starvation. He might die of over dosing, especially the clout that you have used. They can stress the fish in two hours. So, I would advise to do a 50% water change right away and raise your temp to 90 degrees. "no more medication", it's simple as that... Once again, don't panic if your fish doesn't eat.
Use medication as the last resort.

Good luck,

Isn't that for dogs?

Praziquantel/metronidazal/levamisole mix is a very effective mix for a variety of intestinal infections.
Yes it is used as a dewormer for dogs (and humans).
I did however just realise that the med I meant to rec
comend was metronidazole (an anti-protozoal),sorry.
It is just most preparations that I have used contain both, plus either levamisole or flubenal.
Jungle makes an anti-parasite medicated food that is pretty good, as does geltec and several others. If you know any discus breeders they can tell you their favorite source for metronidazole.
Again, sorry for the error in info.
