you know you really can not fault most folks new to fish keeping. store not going to give the info, they want to make a sale. they are not going to say, sure you can have that oscar. here are directions to cycle that 75g tank and filters you need first , come back 8 weeks from now and i will sell you the fish,.
Yea I educated them as much as I could. They was pretty willing to hear what I had to say to. If they listen to what I told them the beta fish will have a long and happy life.

Ok, double posting here, but next time I'm at a pet store or talking to someone and hear, "my fish always die on me after a week or two" I really want to reply with "yeah, Ihave the same problem with the puppies I keep buying"
