I'm going to see it a second time. it's nasty despite having stupid linkin park and disturbed in the soundtrack (radio rock sucks). anyways, this is michael bay's best movie in my opinion and it is well worth seeing again. my only question is about the trailer before the movie. the trailer is taken from a home video of these people having a going away party for some guy and then they start hearing loud noises and explosions. the trailer ended with the statue of liberty's head rolling down the street. does anybody have any clue what movie it is?

the trailer was before the movie, it was the only one that didnt reveal a title or even who was in it. forget the word trailer, the sneak preview

Anyway Transformers was awesome, even if you don't think you'd like it GO SEE IT. It's been along time since I've been at a movie were people aplauded at the end of it.
now im not a transformers superfan, but i did watch it when i was a kid, and im not gonna lie.... when the big tractor trailer pulled up, and that particular transformer introduced himself, and the place when wild, i had a bit of an adrenaline rush.

i was thinking godzilla, but that would be a little weak... time for a new monster

I saw the trailer you are talking about before the movie, I noticed the web address given was "bad robot" so it doesn't seem like Godzilla to me, which was my first guess? The Transformers movie was AWESOME! from an exploding,shooting,robots point of view,
Ha,i saw it and thought it was pretty good; I especially enjoyed the great special effects. The hacker mambo jumbo was crap and there was some serious product placement but still cool.
