Thanks the shovelnose is mine and the jur is the bf's. The tank they are in is not their actual home its just a temp. untill we get the tank my bf bought set up. I love them both though, the Jur esp. because he does that little thing where he stands on his fins and puts his tail up like shamu lol. Then I find my shovel nose rather intresting becuase my frontosa spooks him out, if my front gets anywhere near him he hides. When he does hide he seems to like hideing under the gravel.

What are good types of food to feed them? I know right now they eat fish fillets. When I got my old SN he was on pellets and whatever fell to the bottom.
 
Fed mine hikari cichlid pellets and pieces of shrimp, and krill. Really brought out the colors in him.
