yeah there was about 3/4 to an inch of barb in his mouth, after i took the barb out, he couldnt close his mouth, it had swelled up to twice its size

Ouch, not to mention how the barb only goes in & out in one direction.. :(

yeah it sucked to lose such a big barb, all the barbs are gone now
 
Hows your ray doing? I've heard of alot of people's rays stop eating and sometimes die after using their stingers.

hes doing fine, now that all the big barbs are out he is swimming in the middle of the tank, not just on the sides, i love the big guy
