That's just not right. In my opinion having a fish hobby isn't a waste of money at all. If they see it that way then a lot of the daily things people buy are a waste of money.

They should just be glad that you aren't out doing drugs and boozing all the time (I hope you're not) but home caring for your fish.
nope i dont do things. im a very good kids. im going to school, dont drink, dont smoke. clean record. damn what more can they ask for

Best wishes to you Edwin. Just remember, family is very important ;) but dont lose your passion brother. We'll see you back im sure when you settle down somewhere.

Maybe you should start doing all those and when they ask u why, u say because I don't have fish to keep me busy anymore.

You get my point but don't take me seriously about starting all that.

Torch his car. Tell him it's a waste of money and he should just take public transportaion or walk to work.

again don't take me seriously on that.

lol Jed I didn't know you had so much rebel in you, but very good point!

I would sell the fish and take the tank down and keep it with a friend or ask your parents if you can at least store it empty. I think it will be a good thing to help you stay hungry for future endevours..

Jed is right though there are a ton of things that are comparable to fishkeeping that are really a waste of money.
