man extremly sorry to hear that, sometimes you just have to do what best for the animal, you get so attached that there like famliy,it's really amazing how attached you can get to an animal,i just had my 15 yr old labrador retriver but to sleep,we had her since she was 6 weeks old,i will miss her greatly,i know exactly how you feel

dude i will nvr look at this thread again.it puts alot of tears in my eyes.my cat ran away for a month after 4 years after being adopted from the vet.he was my pal and my first own pet.he came home after two days he came up on me purred licked me the hoped on the floor and died.

I am sorry, but thank you so much for going out and adopting the cats in the shelters, especially this one. It just shows you that these cats and animals are all the more loving than some ones that are bought in stores. The same thing haapened to me, my mother adopted an old dog in a shelter that had been in there for about a year, and it was one of the most loving dogs we ever had. It lived about a year long with us and then its kidneys started failing, and shortly died. It always hurts to leave something so innocent and personally loving as a dog or cat.

Im sure she had a great last six years of her life:)
I'm sure you gave her everything she has ever wanted or needed. And in return the only thing she would ask for you is to be happy.
And you were.

Oddball
Me being a wise guy, I went into this thread thinking it could of been a joke....I was waiting for a pic of a cat in a piranha tank or something....Seriuosly though after reading, my condolences go out to you...I believe pets have souls too....Actually, those that do stick around for awhile with their family do serve a purpose in life, kind of like a gaurdian angel....That purpose can be described by the way she greeted all those times....On grey days, the cat was there to breath love into heart where it was needed....Life is magical and has its way....

That was really tough to read, sorry to hear about your friend.Imo shelters are the best place to get cats and dogs, both my dogs and all my cats were adoptions or strays.
Just remember, when youre ready, theres there a kitty at your local shelter that needs someone like you.

sorry to hear about your loss oddball. u ended it the best way possible. once again sry.:(

My sincere condolences. Such companions are just that, companions. Indeed family. And I know what it is like to lose such a friend whom you have counted on and who seemed more human than most people one might know. True we might have not enough pictures, but we remember life in moments not kodaks; and I am sure you have a wealth of moments with your friend. . .
