Infact here is a good specimen SB pic.. Looks more like yours than mine ;)

If you look at mine I could argue that there is Citrinellus in it..... Or Chanco... yes?? But.. Seeing many different GS's I know that they are so bred out now that deformities cause bad ID's..

Also the general form of the bonzais are dead give away to Bp lineage. My fish and your fish are in my opinion dead give aways to GS lineage.. BUT without a DAN there is no real way to tell if your's doesn't deform like a BP ;)

you can see in both yours and mine what makes them SB's ;) Look along the lateral lines ;) You will see defects in them kinda like a wave ;) Causing them to be shorter and bulkier..

I see what you are saying with the FH Bonzai.. BUT... That is hybrid and hybrid and Japan :D

I honestly doubt that you could mix a bp and gs and get such good GS markings. I am not educated in the mixing of bp's to the point where I could say.... That it is not possible,.. BUT I was told about the spinal deformities a couple weeks ago wheni let go of my Keyholes ;)

Also.. If you look at all most all GS at that size.. the head and lip construction matches yorus better than mine ;) When they get larger you will notice i believe that the Males head shape changes and the female generally if I am not mistaken stays more slender ..

Cool....I have never heard of it either, but the person who sold them to me, said they were Bp x Gt....Either way, he is cool and very aggro. I think it is a she. Do you know if they can breed like normal? When the fry are raised normal, will they be normal Gt's?
 
Well if that is what you were told then it is more than possible :D Especially with bonzais running around..
 
I just spoke with someone who would know 100% the real deal on this subject.....And he told me that I have been mis-informed....I am OK with this....I have a short body GT and Not a Bp x Gt....

Mine you can really see how crooked it is!!!! I was just thinkin about getting some myself ;)
