At 6 for $30 dollars for FO scalare, I don't think think that is bad at all (For the States from what I have gathered. The price alone is an indication to me at least that they are not rarer Peruvian altums and so I still think Wild scalare. There are wild pteraphyllum scalare with thinner stripes. One example I can think of is referred to as Pterophyllum scalare "Manacapuru".

Cool - scalare it is (with thinner stripes) :) And sounds like a good deal...thanks guys!

I think you should contact John directly if you have any questions about his fish. He's a cool guy, and very knowledgeable about wild fish. His number is (239) 693-2198, or email: snookn21@yahoo.com.

Honestly they look like the dude bought a bunch of "veiled angelfish" from a pet store and is reselling them for more. I wouldn't buy those because they look very mixed (as stated above)

If you are going to slam a seller, at least know what you are talking about. Those are nowhere close to "veiled angelfish".

They are Scalares with some features of Leopoldis and very far from having a resemblance to Altums, Colombian or Peruvian.

Good luck with them! I like wild angels. I don't care much for domestic ones, but the wilds are beautiful in my book.
