Well, not me but a family member of mine. He was headed down to the fish store so I told him to pick me up a florida/spotted gar if they had any. Well, they had two different tanks of gars, one short nose, and one alligator. Neither of which I wanted. When asked if they had any florida or spotted the store worker nodded yes and pointed to both tanks. When asked why they were labeled differently he stated that they were all the same just labeled differently from the supplier 
. Needless to say my relitive bought into it and I'm almost certain I now have a shortnose gar in my possession! 
This is a reputable store that carries top quality fresh/salt water fish, which makes me even more upset. I may be calling them tomorrow.
