scared catfish

What size tank do you have? Did you get the large spotted ones or the small spotted ones? I agree with the groups if you have the space. You also what to have atleast one cave per fish when they fight. When you get a couple, there gonna fight till the decide the pecking order. You want to feed them good flakes and pellets so that there spots really stick out.
 
First let my say welcome to MFK's and I agree with getting a couple more as they do better in a little group as do the balas.
So what size tank do you have? Have had balas in the past and they are nice fish, always moving and will feed at all levels of the environment..

my fish looks like the one harpogarza posted and i only have a 20 gallon tank rite now so its not that big. i will eventually be getting a bigger tank though. And Thank you flyin lizard for the greeting
 
You need to host it somewhere, like Photobucket. An account is free.

Then copy the image location.

Then when making the post click the icon that looks like a mountain.

Then paste the image location in that box.

Thats it.
 
Nice pictus, it should be ok in a 20 for awhile. You might want to try craigslist to find a cheap 55 tank and then you could get like 6 or so and have a colony. Is it still scared? Have you realized not to over feed yet lol? They stop eating when the food is gone lol.
