Scared new bass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've noticed my kelberi are picky too. Like they don't like one brand bloodworm to another-lol. Now my temensis is an eating machine!!!

Tems are garbage guts they eat EVERYTHING

My tem is the most difficult eater I've got. I have kelberi, ocellaris, and one temensis. Mine just started picking up random pellets recently. All the other bass crush pellets.

Must be a prima donna then :)

The lights look pretty bright as well

Ive had the same problem with my kel still vant get him to eat anything thats not a feeder

Mono ocellaris tem and azul all eat frozen food

They're new to the tank let them settle in, try to use the light a little less until they settle. I've moved my bass in the past to a larger tank and it took them 2-3weeks before they started eating again and got back to normal.

Can I ask where you got these guys from? I just got 3 azuls in and they're exhibiting very similar behavior in my 180, congregating in one corner, very hesitant to venture out of the corner they're in. They've been in the tank for 24 hours and have yet to eat anything.

Monster aquarium Azuls doing great been about two weeks eating shrimp krill blood worms kelberi getting better not eating what I give them lol

Be patient guys they need to learn you are the food source, my new intermedia were very skiddish at first but I have had them for 5 days and now they eagerly wait for hikari floating sticks and come up to the surface while I drop the food in. I use slow movement at first when I feed them so I dont spook them until they begin to trust you. Just takes time
