Scared of the color RED?

so if i get some red fish even a arowana wouldnt eat it?
i got parrots and non of my fish are scared of them, and fish arnt scared of red devils and really red parrots.

Seems the "red" inside the tank does not effect them, check out the plant in the pic with my silver.

Well in the 3.5 months since this was posted, there is no change in my silver aros disposition with the color red. If anything it has gotten worse. He is now 20" long and has a 24" silver as a tankmate. Whether the 24" is effected by red I can not tell, he gets spooked, but I'm sure it's the result of the 20" being spooked.

There is actually a word for this, Rhodophobia, the fear of the color red. I have two red shirts I wear on occassion, every once and a while I'll forget I have one on but my aros let me know it.:screwy:
 
If my girlfriend wears Pink or Red my Black aro gets VERY agitated. He does not freak out but he will curl up in the corner of the tank and move very quickly.

Oh yeah! My Aro's were very rhodophobic. I tried a Bloodred Parrot youngster and whenever I forgot and wore red, eeee gads, three lap headbanger session. I agree-absolutely terrified of red.

Mine used to be terrified of my hair too-if I would leave it down near the tank, Aro freakout. One time a chunk of my hair fell foreward into the tank and my Aro literally swam over, grabbed a mouthful and bit on hard and we played tug of war, darn it, gave me a mini haircut. After enough time though, he got used to long blonde hair but never red.

My Mom used to have 2 big silvers in a lower tank..... Her old kirby vacume had a red bag.... She sowed a white towel around it so they would quit splashing water out of the lid anytime the vacume was out lol..... It worked... They didnt care about the noise it was the red
 
My aro doesn't seem to have any specific reaction to the color red. It acts exactly the same when I'm wearing a solid red t-shirt as it does when I'm wearing a solid white t-shirt.
