Sooooooo...
Everytime I go near my tank or try to just watch my fish they cower in fear in their hiding places. I cannot even see parts of them. I have had them for a few months now, and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. The only time they come out is when they seem hungrier than normal. When I do water changes I take them out and put them in a bucket in a dark room. Is this correct? Should I just leave them in there? Seems like cleaning the gravel would be too loud for them. Help!!!

just leave them in there--they will be fine with you suctioning, and will just stay away from where you are working in the tank..
