Nightmare on elm street
I'm excited for the new one coming out. It looks like it could be good. Can't be no worse than some of the recent remakes, lol

guinea pig isnt scary...its just down right sick.

i just caught midnight meat train last night, pretty cool...not scary at all.
heard about descent 2,wonder how itll turn out...

im going to watch the wolfman soon.

that exorcism of emily rose kinda scared me. but the scaries and most real ghost movie i've seen was an asian movie called "the eye 10" not the jessica alba one althought it was orginated in chinese. most american ghost movies arent scary at all cuz most of them arent realistic but more like monsters and tries to scary you from quiet scenes that has loud music. all the real scary movies are from asia. noticed how most scary movies nowadays are from asia but recreated to american.

the only good horror movies in asia are from japan IMO.
every other asian country cant make horror movies for crap.

I just watched a creepy movie the other night with the fiance. I think it was called girl next store. It's a true story. It wasn't scary, just very disturbing. Two sister's parents die in a car accident and they go to live with their aunt. The aunt and her kids are twisted, I'll leave it at that. Its on nextflix for those that have it.

When I was younger candyman used to scar the crap out of me. I remember watching in my parents basement with a friend of mine. I had to have been in 6th or 7th grade. My buddies dad picked him up and we had left the tv on in the basement. My dad told me to go downstairs and turn it off. I didn't want too, i was scared... LOL he made me do it anyways. As I'm running down the stairs he starts yelling CANDYMAN over and over. Not to mention it was a 2000 sq ft basement so it took a while to get the tv off and back up stairs. He's notorious for doing things like that. I had a bunch of friends over once and we were watching one of the original Halloweens. My dad went outside with a knife and started tapping on the windows.

Now movies that can actually be real like saw or any of those movies can get my adrenaline going. Most of the Rob Zombie movies were good, his halloweens and house of 100 corps were good too.

Great stuff, I have all of them. I ordered teh Guinea Pig boxed set at Borders, :headbang2 Salo was something that I'm glad to finally have. I wasnt about to spend like $90 on it so I was excited when Criterion Collection released it again.
My Man, nice taste, after salo................i wasnt the same, it was a shock to all senses it also reignited my love of shock/gore/horror. Nice thread btw.

The Descent is teh worst ive seen so far - being a caver/urban explorer, still makes me jumpy lol. Cursed mental imprint.

.

The sad thing is The Girl Next Door was based on a real story, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sylvia_Likens The good by Jack Ketchum was still better than the movie though.

Thanks, don't seem to find too many people that share my taste. After years of never getting to see it and read about it, I was still a little disappointed in it. I guess cause I've seen other stuff like it such as Sweet Water, Men Behind the Sun, Aftermatch/Genesis and one of my favorites, Nekromantik, lol.

paranormal activity made me stay up all night for like four days then i finally went to sleep cuz my body made me i wouldn't have if i could
