cannibal Holocaust had more of a cult sway over me more than shock/scare factor.

I'm actually quite stunned to hear that there are other people here who have actually seen or even heard of Salo:120 days of sodom... i must say its definitely not the scariest movie i've ever seen, but almost definitely one of the most twisted so far...

Actually come to think about it, of all the times i've heard of my friends watching it, 1 of them couldn't finish it, and another almost threw up...
 
If you looking for disturbing, philosophy of a knife its a documentary about Japanese unit 761, whom ever directed has his roots in horror. He mixes the documentry with some really obscene gross imagery

didnt get round to salo....had to go out.
must say cannibal was SHOCKING...i want that 2 hours of my life back!!!
i was all psyched up to see an AMAZING film...i spent alot of money getting hold of that! infact il have my 3quid back too lol
 
oh oh oh taxadermia/taxerdermia (sp) lol now that slightly more on the twisted side.
fairly boring, but im not looking at pigs the same way.

^ I didn't make it through the whole of philosophy of a knife, it was indeed unecessary in its length. I did make through more of it than "the men behind the sun" though, which I just couldn't stomach. Gore is not really my thing, and because both movies were real as in it actually happened made it too much for me.
