Scariest movie?

There's just too many remakes nowadays like Ring, Grudge, Halloween, F the 13th, The Uninvited, Nightmare on Elm St (later this year).... I watch all those "weird" movies as some people call them such as Re-Animator, Slugs, Guinea Pig boxed set, I Spit On Your Grave, Nekromantik (lol)... I still love Evil Dead though and Dead Alive, but they're horror-comedy.

The Desent was also a good one, that was another one I hadn't really thought about since watching.

It's a shame 'The Cave' was released about the same time, with a similar plot but a large Hollywood budget. It was a poor effort.

Although I have not seen it, house of wax looks scary. Other than that, watching house on haunted hill when half asleep will do it lol.

haha house of wax is just funnyand iv never heard ANYONE cheer in a horror film except for when paris hilton got killed lol.

House of wax is weird, there's like mechanical robots that move the blinds and such so it looks like people live in the town. Then the whole house is wax, it's pretty funny when it starts to melt though.:)

Or in Hostel when they cut the Achilles tendon of that one dude and he stand up......Bam as he hits the floor. That would just plain suck, just plain suck, lol.

lol have u not seen hostel 2??? if i were a man the last thing i would b worrying about was that Achilles incident in 1 lol u wana watch the last scene in 2 hahaha....even i cinged lol

the horrorfest film pic are ... entertaining. I hear you one the remakes, the only one I can think of that was better then the original is dawn of the dead. The thing that was always lacking in zombie movies is that the zombies weren't fast (thats what made that movie for me).
My friends hate me for the foriegn horror movies I get, they rather wait till the american remake of them cuase they're lazy about the sub-titles. Ehh most times in horror films you don't even need to read the sub-titles to get the jist of it.

the descent was RUBBISH lol....i was talking to someone else about that the other night...worst film...sorry matt

The originals are just more scary. We always manage to screwup the remakes usually, lol. Most people don't even know that "The Uninvited" is a remake of "Tale of Two Sisters". I have the original "Dawn of the Dead" boxed set, the one that's like 4 discs w/ all the different versions. "Evil Dead Trap" and "Audition" are two good foreign films.... :D

Evil Dead 2 is my favorite! It used to scare the crap out of me when I watched it was a kid. Got it on Blu-ray now. Still an awesome flick to watch. The old lady in the cellar is creepy.

ooooh never been in to japanese movies....always a lil too wrong in my eyes lol plus i spose shadows dont scare me,

I've seen like all the Texas Chainsaw Massacres, the Jeepers Creepers, most of the Friday the 13th's and 2 of the Exorcists, among other things, but the only movie that ever scared me was Signs.

I'm not quite sure why, but that movie just scared the Moses out of me. Maybe it's because our house is surrounded by cornfields...
