I liked Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween.

I liked how he took time to explore the young Michael Myers in the mental hospital.

I also really like an early slasher (with Jason Alexander in it in his first movie roll) called "The Burning"

not sure if any MFKer's have seen it, but its really good.

basically, a Friday the 13th rip off in terms of plot, but well executed.

try "i spit on your grave", more gory revenge but the stuff they have that abused woman dishing out is scary stuff.

The Burning is good, I love the use of shears as a weapon. The Prowler is another good old one along w/ The Thing,

I brought that up earlier, lol... good stuff. Last House on the Left also follows the same premise. Wes Craven's first movie...
