hmmm...

besides size... nothing much outstanding to this red yet.

small tail and back finnages compared to bodysize.

head that's not spoon nor bullet.

color wise not fantastic.

Friendly advice... Drop eye is gonna come soon.

But its still a young fish... I'm sure a knowledgeable person in arowanas like yourself can improve this red into something better.

If its on superworms you might have a problem. :)

I'm not sure if you're joking or not. He was just showing a nice looking aro. He wasn't bragging or trying to say that it is a perfect specimen with correct confirmation or colors. I bet 99% of people will say that it's a nice looking aro. Also, why are you so sure that it's going to get drop eye. The next time I post a picture of an aro I'm going to buy, you can take a look at the picture and tell me if it's going to get drop eye because no one else knows exactly what causes it.:screwy: That way, I can save my money and buy one that you approve. Why be so negative when everyone else has nothing but praise?:( I hope anyone else that posts a picture won't be afraid that he will be criticized for a fish they are proud of even though the fish isn't perfect. The Doctor

P.S. I hope you don't have anything against BlakeBlade because you seem kind of critical of his posts.

From the picture, yes this fish is infact developing droop eye....

Look at the picture with the right side eye Doc! You can see sign of droop eyes. I also agree that the tail and back finage aren't quite big to compare to the body structure. The fish is still young, so its color could be awesome when he fully develop, especially with the blue shine. Just my thought. ;)

please read my post very carefully...

i said there is nothing oustanding about the arowana YET.

As with all fish, arowanas need good grooming to allow them to reach their fullest potential.

If no one is critical how will one improve with nothing but praise?

The most important thing is to be able to accept critisim and look on the positive side of it rather than on the negative. Thats how i learnt many things about arowanas.

:)

This forum is all about learning, once you post a picture and ask for peoples opinions thats exactly what you get, opinions, hence you should be able to take the good and the bad.

Nice aro either way!!! Give it time to develop...

love the aro, but yah the fins are kinda small looking, and i kinda see what they are talking about with the de.
