I looked up L091, the beacon pleco...it does look like that more. I *knew* it wasn't a sultan pleco, but....would you say I paid too much then?

its not Mango! 100% for sure

its not Scarlet (because scarlet doesn't have the dots on the fin)

It should be a three beacon pleco L-091!

The price is a bit on the high side

if your talking about L-091, they are from Venezuela, Colombia

That is an L091 Three beacon pleco, Leporacanthicus triactus, and you did over pay IMO.

Thanks for the responses...I went to my lfs last night and one guy there knew exactly the fish that I was talking about....he said it is a three beacon pleco

I still think the pleco's really cool regardless....
