They do better single or in larger groups. In pairs, they run into the trouble of fighting with each other. Unless, you could mix a bunch of other "cheaper" scats with them, that usually helps.

My single specimen did well schooling with the archers. They don't have very large mouths and, provided they're not just jerks, are pretty peaceful. I've never seen a scat of any kind quarrel with anything but another scat, and even then it was usually just posturing. It was only when I had just the two that there was real trouble.

Definitely get P-P the B. suchus. When it outgrows his tanks, it'll wind up in one of mine.
