School Project Help - IDing Plants

This may be the wrong place to post this, but I'm not sure where it belongs.

I've been accepted into a marine biology high school and they've given all the freshmen a summer packet. One requirement was to do some field research. So my dad took me out to the river and we walked along the shore. We took samples of water, animals, and plants.

So now I need some help identifying the plants we collected. None of my field guides are helping. Make sure you read the descriptions. These were all found on the Metedeconk River in New Jersey.

Those are all terrestrial plants. Check a botanical site.

Ya i was just about to say that those aren't "Under water Plants" so you were right about this being the wrong place to post this. BTW i got distracted by the little plastic character guy's B and L lol...

You could talk about the evolution of the stem and how plants were able to go from marine to terrestrial.
