Just letting everyone know, DO NOT USE DRYLOK. I had to leave the tank at school for a weak. I got to pick it up today. I got there and there was no water in the tank. The Drylok pealed right off the wood, the water immediatly penetrated the wood, leaked through and roted my wood. The entire tank is ruined. I'm going to salvage all my knobs, pumps, filtration material, and the glass, and the rest is getting put into the dumpster.

If anyone is in NC and wants to buy 1/4 tempered glass, two sheets 1 46 x 24, the other 39?( I'll have to double check)x 24, I'll sell it to you for a good price, but you have to clean the silicone off it.

Sorry to hear about this, it was a good build,

Most curious....

What grade ply did you use? I used A/C with the drylok on the rough side with no sanding to get a better grip.

Gonna set up my filter tomorrow and let it run for a good week and see what happens.

I'm honoslty not sure what grade it was, but it was the cheapest wood i could find like 20 bucks a sheet. So I know the wood wasn't very good
