Stunning male you have there. Looks like you give him great care. If I was you I would worry about getting a bigger tank first, then get him some friends.

If it's a funds issue, look on Craigslist, Offer Up, Letgo. Deals are out there just got to find them. I got my first 125gal for $200.

ive got a 125 with a single large male midevil in it, as well as a 180 with my severum community. the 75 just sits in my foyer area, so thtas the first thing people see when they walk in. hes been doing good in the 75, hes going on 3 years old.

It's a hybrid. Head shape/face is off for carpintis. Coloration of fins too. Even has the trimac/flowerhorn "flowers" on the side. Looks to have a lot of carpintis in it, but i'm sure that's not a pure carpintis.
It is a nice fish either way. Could try some BA tetras or giant danios, though if it ate the silver dollars, they will porbably share the same fate.

Posably, i got the fish locale. 2 supposed texas cichlids spawned at the lfs, and this was one of the fry.
