Schooling fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah i thought maybe he meant like palmas or senegals...

he said it was a 5x2x2 and the polys are ina 4x1.5x2 so i thought they might be different from the ones in his sig...

like clown, skunk, yoyo..

Rainbows, large barbs...

The skunk loaches are the nastiest you will ever keep and I wouldn't be surprised if those feisty loaches manage to beat up those polypterus or that the skunks will end up swallowed by those polypterus and the polypterus choke themselves to death instead by their spines. Yoyos are in risky business as well. The clowns, if 7 inches and larger, will however be fine but the downside is they love to munch over plants as well.

You are forgetting the tank is supposed to be planted so without knowing what plants the OP has, this is very risky. Large barbs love to eat plants especially those with soft foliage. So do balas.

Rainbowfish are fine on the other hand.

To the OP: What plants do you have in there?

I'd go with Balas. They look bad@ss when schooling , even better when they hit the 10" mark

Not really schooling fish, but I would say grow out some Datnoids.
They look great with polys.
