very nice! What other fish do you have in the pond? Put a wels in there :D

Oscars, plecos, largmouth, yellow belly cats, and a real strong population of bluegills, grass shrimp, and guppies. I also have a population of freshwater atlantic rays in their. They came in with bad tails so I couldnt sell them. I see them all the time, they are so cool. All stocked by me. I have been stocking it with every 8 pound + largmouth and every real big peacock. The oscars are the most recent addition. I threw around 12 in there and they too are schooling up. I have two defenate pairs of oscar. My pond is my baby. Losing that many peacocks in the winter brought me down. I put alot of hard work and time to get them to spawn on the regular. For them to all almost die. 7 left, the sawga continues!!!

sweet! id love to fish your pond!

They breed like crazy. I usually pulled spawns once twice even three times a week when fully stocked. I will start re stocking asap. This time im only going to have 7-10 pairs. I dont need that many this time. They like to be in little colonies. I usually see 3-4 peacock beds in a 10 ft area. And thats all I need. Those few pairs will produce around 36,000 babies ea a season.
