They are doing real good right now. I only lost one spawn out of the 3. The other two were perfect hatches. The real big spawn is the one we lost, I think their were to many eggs for our hatching container, once they started to hatch they fouled out the water and died. That spawn was close to 3000+ eggs. I will check the lake today for more spawns, im feeling luck today, the weather has been perfect.

how do you estimate the number of eggs, 3000 would be a lot of counting.......

I defentaly dont count them. I count the babies when they sell, so I know close to how many eggs by how many i sell. I keep one spawn per vatt. So after I catch a vatt up, I know how many fish were in that vatt from the paperwork. Paper work tells me everything.
