Schroederi Flower ray color questions...

From what i have been told the main influnce on the back ground color is the color of the sand or another bottom. But, im no flower expert wish i was though

Hi, my first post. I thought that this would be as good a place as any to start. Don't you guys think that the darkening is a sign of dominance/aggression? Like Clown Loaches. Anyone that has kept them has probably noticed that the Alpha Loach is always darker. Dats do this too. It's really noticeable in IT's that aren't always stable in their color. Heck I even had a Fahaka that did the same. Feeling secure will also affect shade in their chromatafors.(I think that's what those cells are called) Susbstrate and tankmates/environment will affect this. Just my two bits.

My exporter also has two different flowers listed, and calls the darker ones 'Trebol' flowers and has said that they do come from a different location. I ordered both types in last time, and there was a noticeable difference between them, both at 4-5" and also at 9". Awesome rays, and one of my favourites.
