dont you find it funny that scientists say nothing will happen for atleast four years, and the mayans predicted doomsday to be in 4 years:eek::grinno:

Funny, that was the first thing I thought of too.

We discussed this in school today. Some of my quotes:
"If it's supposed to happen at 3:00, we don't have to get up for school, right?" They're doing it in Switzerland? But that's where chocolate comes from!" "Between Switzerland and France? Great, now we loose chocolate AND toast!" After seeing the rap in school that the scientists put on youtube, "I kinda hope that the world DOES end so I never have to hear that rap again..."
And just as we were listening to the rap, the secratary from the principal's office walked in. I was thinking (about the science teacher) "Boy, do you have some explaining to do..."
Someone in my class said, "If, it is recreating the big bang, will there be a mini universe?"

I would be afraid, but since I have no contol over it, I hope I go down with some 50 year old scotch and a beautiful woman (or two) by my side:D

It starts up in 3 hours 54 minutes.

I don't suppose you have any idea what it is? Or is that just something you "heard"?

meaning what?

Unfortunately I don't remember the name of it - it was on Discovery a few months ago. Killed somthing like 95% of all cancer cells it came into contact with.

I love it. Cant wait to watch the video of this machine (and man) break down. It seems that life as we know it is a shell game. Hang on to your britches!
