I've got sd's in with my jardini they do get beat up a little but safety in numbers spreads the aggression and makes it much harder to target individuals in a shoal

I suppose it is hit or miss. I have my 22" lei with fish he could easily eat whole as well as 4 clown loaches, multiple bichirs, 4" ornatum, menarambo as well as other cichlids. I think a key factor was I had got him when he was 2" and he had to grow with other fish much bigger at the time. As well as having a lot of hiding places for fish and once they knew top space was his no problems at all. I'll post a video as soon as possible
It's always had a bit of a bulge there, I think this pic makes it look larger than it actually is though.
