Scooped these out of a creek

If you work for F&W or DNR, you may be able to get a collecting permit to get these fingerlings from their source to a department facility. HOWEVER, taking them from the wild and placing them in your privately-owned home aquarium is, in fact, multiple felony charges. Posting the evidence on a public forum only shows a level of intelligence that poses a risk to the gene pool.

You're my hero! I...can't...breathe...

They're dead. So whatever you are worried about is done. I caught em, double checked if they needed to be officially identified and recorded. Then killed em. Believe Me I don't intend on keeping 1000 baby snakeheads. But I did get 1000 or so out of the local waterway.

As for the parents

All you do is drop a red anodized hook into the ball and they attack it. You don't even need a lure. When it's not this time of year they like chatterbaits

You probably know this better than I -

- MFK has a zero tolerance policy towards anything illegal or debatebly illegal or even sketchy reported or discussed on its forums.

100% compliance is MFK goal.

I spoke to the senior biologist (Nate Figley) you can look that up if you wish. He said kill em but make sure they weren't madtoms because they school up too.

That's true. However, there's like a 3 month difference in the fry swarms. Madtoms swarm late winter/early spring.
