He ate 5 pinkies today... amazing.
But hides all day, so I'll let him get acclimated.
Anyone know where I can get a nice monitor-proof cage online? Or would you recommend something may be available at the petstore like a dog cage or something?
I went to glasscages.com but they can't ship it directly to me without me spending more on shipping than the tank.

Youre kidding right? .... please tell me you are; in case youre not www.kingsnake.com, cages classifieds.... look for a tall vision cage to grow it out in, then head to home depot and build it one.
Don't suppose there were any ackies at the show? Seems this year they've been scarce on the hatch rate.

vision cages...i had all my monitors in 6' or 4' long Vision Cages...easy cleaning and with the help of a glass lock...Reptile escape proof...
make sure you turn up the heat after a big meal...last thing you want is it throwing it up half digested...some monitors are prone to do that when stressed or cold...
