Scored a Cheap pleco

Looks like a washout sao felix L25 & 7 pointers, just need the color to come back on the fins and it's quite bulky too
zebra plecos go for $250 and up were I am from and these guys are aroung $175 as well were I come from but I know zebra plecos are much more rare then scarlets in my area. I have never seen one zebra pleco in lfs, tried to order one he priced it at $270. In my area there is about a $100 difference between the two and the op not saying how much he obtained it for made it hard to tell if he got ripped off or got a steal. Different areas of the world and in the US dont always have the same price for fish.
Fantastic Fins in Livonia, MI breeds plecos, they have a HUGE variety. Lots of Zebras... Around 150-200$.

I know why I got it cheap now, because when the light is off, that thing is pure evil (super aggressive) :O
you are comparing apples to elephants. A baby L25 might go for $175 ( which I highly doubt at a Lfs) but there is no way that a pretty much full grown scarlet would go for less than your zebra price under normal circumstances. Even with the radical price drop it is still quite more. Also your regional arguement is interesting because we are in the same region.
Just going by price's I got from other lfs^^^^ what part of florida you located?
