Scored a free 55g from craigslist

Well, it's severely dirty and it smells something fierce. I've never seen such a dirty aquarium. I can't believe someone left it get like this and then decided to just ditch it. Furthermore, I can't believe it fit in the car. It was tight and shifting was fun. Anyway, some pix of it in the car, its overall condition and the filth in the rocks. I was going to use the rocks, but there is driveway gravel present. I plan on cleaning this up and using it as a sump. I've been looking for another 55g for a sump, but didn't want to pay money for it.

i picked up a 60 months ago that was just about as dirty.. however it had been sitting on the side of someones house for a few months

Datza dirty! Wow. I think the only thing you COULD use it for would be a sump. Free nevertheless, I'd have taken it too.

nice find. Try freecycle.org if your looking for more. I just got a 30 gallon and a 75 gallon that I am picking up this weekend.
