Hello! does anyone owns a Emperous Scorpion? I saw one at the pet store, the ones that are all black and have huge clows and its being sold for 12.99 and I wanna buy one so I can put him on my 10 gallon I have here. My question is: can the venoum from these guy kill you, or it will only bring you pain? all or any information about these guys will be welcomed.

Emporers are pretty mellow, the sting is pretty mild. I have not been stung by one but a roomate of mine was and compared it to a mild bee sting. A general rule of thumb is that the beefier the claws, the milder the sting.

ill agree almost got stung by one my friend has like 15 of them he cleaned a guy out at a retile show we went to a year ago hes been stung a few times and said it was like a yellow jacket sting or wasp hurts for a lil bit then is gone if you get one good luck they are beautiful
Yeah the sting shouldn't be bad. I've heard they are like a bee sting too. I suppose someone could have an allergic reaction to a sting, but you should be fine. They are definately pretty mellow though. I've been pinched though and that's not all that much fun with those claws. I'd imagine the sting would still be worse though.
wow tanx guys, I have never been biten by a bee before in my knowledge and I dont know if I will have a reaction to it if I ever get bite (I will take the risk) the only thing is convencing my mother that they are not dangerous. I m guessing that they can eat pinkies too right ? I mean I m having a hard time imaging them ate anything alive and bigger that a pinky!
