I'm using the ceramic rings already and also is pothos ok to use with SA fish? Do I just keep the lids off of my HOB's ??

I'm a cabinet maker and use a polishing pad in my ac110 that I use for sanding in between coats of laquer you can get it at places like Home Depot in paint department in large pads for hardwood floor applications it will work but nothing is as cheap as scrubbers u could bag rock in a nylon or as a kid we also used marbles in our little air powered corner filters
Can I also use felt sheets like from the arts and craft store
