Hello everyone!

So! I think majority of us can all agree that there is nothing more frustrating that seeing a new scratch or swirl mark on our aquarium's glass or cabinet. This is something that every aquarium hobbyist will experience at some point in there lifetime, unless you are freakishly lucky!

Ceramic/nano coatings have been in the market for a long time now, and I was wondering if anyone has heard of, or used this technology on there aquariums.

In theory to prevent the below:
- On the external glass: Helps prevent unwanted scratches and swirl marks
- On cabinet: Help prevent unwanted scratches and swirl marks
- On the internal glass: Help prevent unwanted scratches ------------------------ I know right?!? would be GREAT

I guess the main concern is leaching chemicals that would alter the water chemistry.

Thoughts?

Thanks all

Honestly, I never really got any scratches. IMO you don't need anything, you just need to be careful moving the aquarium and don't put anything sharp in it. Also, make sure you have thick glass for tank buster fish.
