Novus and elbow grease.

Then re-do and re-do and re-do. I am working on doing the same thing with a 300. The flame method sounds like a lot less work.

I used the novus on the outside of my 315. On the inside I attatch sand paper to my mag-float.

I attatch the sand paper to my mag-float and use it to sand the scratch instead of remove algae. Works pretty good for me. I have no other way of reaching a scratch in that tank unless it is really high up because the tank is 36" wide and braced.

You can use my buffer if ya want.
I have just recently bought an acrylic tank i just went to my local automotive paint supply and bought 3M finnese IT II for polishing clear coates and 3M compound with some abrasives for a couple deeper scratches that i made and hand did the deeper then used my direct drive buffer to go over the entire tank worked well...:D

Good tips! So the 3M compound works well?

Ya worked great I did not even try the Novis Or what ever it's called figured with it being for the acrylic specificly or stating that it was it would cost a bunch more Don't know if that is the case but i got a bottle of each of the 3M products for $20 bucks each and each one has 16 oz's enough to do my entire 600 4 or 5 times is that cheaper?
