Scratches on tank

Any ideas on better ways to get these cleaner or less visible. It's a 150 long used out of a fish store going out of business. I'm going to do a diy background and sides so the front is important. I'm getting back in the hobby. Thanks for your input.

Those look like a LOT of scratches so I don't know if you'll be able to fix them.

Have you tried filling the tank with water and see if the scratches aren't so noticeable?

I think it's going to be awfully hard to get those scratches out of glass. I'd suggest filling the tank, as deeda mentioned, to see if they're not as noticeable. If that doesn't work to your liking then I would honestly look on Craigslist for another tank.

Sorry but your out of luck. Flip it around is your best bet UNLESS of course you want to buy another tank.
 
They won't show up as much once it's filled with water. I have a scratched up one I still use. I would also put the best side forward as already said.
