I have never seen a tig in any lfs that was larger than 3". Yours looks excellent. I think you should give it time before you sell it off so you don't regret your decision.

thank you everyone. idk, he just seems too big, and i don't want him to be the showcase fish. but ill hold on to him for a while and see how i feel later. i don't think it would be too difficult to sell this guy

Wait till he starts to fatten up and gets confident in the tank. Its hard not to love a tig cruising the tank with its 12" streamers trailing behind.
