yeah, I can't stand BS rack systems. Poor ball pythons :(

+1. My ball python is a very active snake. I feel bad for keeping her in something as small as a 30g aquarium. I hope to upgrade her to something like a 4x2x2. That's the size of the plywood cage I built for my iguana, so when I upgrade him, maybe I'll let her have his cage.

My brother's is really active too, it's just always moving. Plain and simple.

Nice scrub and nice cage too, love the paint job lol! The species is Morelia Amethystina, common name is Southern scrub python. She is really beautiful. Do you still have her?
I had a 16ft female weighing around 60lbs. She died 2 yrs ago, she was around 13-14 yrs old. Here's a pic of her:

Expect at least 12 ft fully mature... The southerns are the largest of all scrubs.

Very nice snake! Too bad she passed away. I had a hard time figuring what kind of snake mine was because of the patern. Mine looks a lot different that what yours did.

I will put up a video possibly tonight. She's near 8 feet now. Her current cage will house my bredli python once he grows up and I want a taller and longer one for my scrub :)

Gorgeous snake and enclosure. I love projects like that, some really neat things come from it.
