Scrubbies help?

JACKPOT !!!

We went to Big Lots yesterday and I cleaned house. I found 27 of the six packs for .69 and also 5 larger 6 packs for 1.50 each.

I was looking for 10 gallons worth and I think I have closer to 20.

The lady at the checkout counter thought I had lost my marbles. I told here I was using them for a fish tank filter and she really thought I had lost my marbles, LOL.

I agree the pot scrubbers are defiantely better for bio, being more pourous.
The other kind generally have a notice on the bag NOT FOR AQUARIUM USE
especially the ones that are green on one side and yellow on the other.So be careful what you buy.

I have used the shower scrubbies with no ill effect..... but the majority of my media is pot scrubbies
