Scrubbing algae is lame -___-

I bought a algae scrubber at petco today to clean it off my front wall. It's not bad it is small little spots see photo and I already hurt my hand from gripping the handle I feel there is an easier way to do it though any suggestions.

mag float works wonders. Just be careful to keep the surfaces clean and avoid sand and other hard articles under the surfaces.

Awesome....lol.
Anyway get a Mag Float, other cheaper brands don't compare. This tidy lil algae magnet will help you get all that off in 5% the time and effort.

I don't think it's that after pulling my hand out it felt a bit of pain I am thinking its the way the handle is shaped or I was holding it wrong
