I have never used Prime before. I have been using Stresscoat. I see that most people on here use Prime. Is there a really big difference in quality? I read up on Prime and it seems that if you use too much it could kill your fish. Is this correct?

prime is the best... ive been using it for 4 years no problem whatso ever..

the great thing is.. you only need 1 capful for 50 gallons.. other brands is like 1 cap for 10 or even 5 gallons...

I have only used prime for the past 5 years. Best stuff on earth IMO. I guess if you dump in the whole bottle you could kill your fish but besides that you can add 5x the recommended dose w/o any harm.

Yes, more concentrated, so it lasts longer. Also it can be used to neutralize ammonia and nitrates etc. You can overdose a little and there will be no harm. Ive never heard of prime killing your fish.

Prime is pretty good, although I always have to dose extra because it's hard to get the exact amount of prime I need(extremely concentrated), and I don't want to dose too little by accident.

I have used Prime for over 10yr on tanks ranging from 20g to 150g and have never had an issue from overdosing. The stuff is great.

Been using prime for 6 months. Stuff lasts forever. I do a 25% - 30% WC every week. I usually add almost a full capful when I add the new water to make sure I put enough. Never seen any signs of stress or issues.

Stress Coat is garbage. Prime is much more concentrated and doesn't have all the slimy crap that blocks oxygen absorption.

use the prime i have used enough for 1000 gallons on my pond when it only needed enough for 200 gallons and the fish were just fine.

Prime user here! I love the stuff very inexpensive and concentrated compare it to almost any other dechlorinator and prime is a clear winner.
